Directions

By MBTA Public Transportation:
Boston University is easily accessible by public transportation. The “B” branch of the MBTA Green Line passes through the campus along Commonwealth Avenue. Once on the Green Line, CARD is located at 900 Commonwealth Ave. at the corner of St. Paul St. The T stop is Amory Street.

By Red Line:
Take the Red Line train to the Park Street station and transfer to the Green B Line train. Take the B line to the Amory Street stop.

By Blue Line:
Take the Blue Line train to the Government Center station and transfer to the Green B Line train. Take the B line to the Amory Street stop. Note: During the closure of the Government Center station, the MBTA recommends taking the Blue Line to State, then transferring to the Orange Line toward Oak Grove (northbound). Customers should then transfer at Haymarket for Green Line connections.

By Orange Line:
Take the Orange Line train to the Downtown Crossing station. Follow the underground concourse to the Green B Line train. Take the B line to the Amory Street stop.

By Green Line:
From Lechmere, Science Park, North Station or Haymarket, take any train to the Government Center station and transfer to the Green B Line train. From the suburban C or D lines take any train inbound to the Kenmore Square station, change to the outbound platform and board the B train. From the E line, take any train inbound to the Copley Square station, change to the outbound platform and board the B train. Take the B line to the Amory Street stop.

By car from the west:
Take Storrow Drive to the Brookline/Boston University exit, which is marked only with a small sign. From the exit ramp, turn right onto Commonwealth Avenue and immediately move to the middle lane to avoid going over the BU bridge. CARD is located on the opposite (eastbound) side of Comm. Ave., at the corner of St. Paul Street. Metered street parking is available on both sides of Comm. Ave., and the garage at Agganis Arena is often available for guests (paid parking).

Or: Take Commonwealth Avenue eastbound to St. Paul Street. Or: Take the Mass Pike to Allston/Brighton; stay left at the tolls and follow the ramp onto Cambridge Street. Turn left on Harvard Street, then left again on Brighton Avenue. At Packard’s Corner, Brighton Avenue merges into Commonwealth Avenue. Continue straight on Comm. Ave. to St. Paul.

By car from the east:
Take Commonwealth Avenue to St. Paul Street. Or take Storrow Drive to Kenmore Square, then turn right onto Commonwealth Avenue. Or take the Mass Pike to Allston/Brighton; stay left at the tolls and follow the ramp onto Cambridge Street. Turn left on Harvard Street, then left again on Brighton Avenue. At Packard’s Corner, Brighton Avenue merges into Commonwealth Avenue. Continue straight on Comm. Ave. to St. Paul.

By car from the north or south:
Take 1-93 to either Storrow Drive or the Mass Pike and then follow directions from the east.

NOTE if you’re using Google Maps:
CARD is located right on the Boston/Brookline line. Although 900 Comm. Ave. is located on the Boston side, you may need to enter “900 Commonwealth Ave., Brookline,” in order to keep Google from getting confused. As long as it takes you to the corner of St. Paul Street and Commonwealth Avenue, you’re headed in the right direction. CVS is on the first floor of our building but the main entrance to CARD is on the St. Paul Street side of the building.

By MBTA Bus:

The 57 Bus has a stop at Buick Street, which is at the corner of Commonwealth Avenue and Buick Street, directly across the street from CARD.
