Handshake: Account Requests

BU Alumni

Please submit this form if you have graduated from a BU degree program and would like a Handshake account or want to request changes to your existing account (including class year, degree type, major, and email address).

• If you graduated from BU after 2014, you may already have an account! Log in at bu.joinhandshake.com using your BU email address.
• If you graduated from Wheelock College before 2018, you now have a BUID which you will need to submit this form. If you don’t know what it is, please contact BU Alumni Relations.
• If you graduated from the Goldman School of Dental Medicine, you have access to have access to BUDCN, the Boston University Dental Career Network, which is managed by the career resources staff at the Dental School. For more information or to request an account, visit their website.

BU Students

Most current students (enrolled in a degree program) already have Handshake accounts. Before completing the form, go to bu.joinhandshake.com and, using your BU email, check to see if you have an existing account.
