Venessa Odera

Venessa Odera is originally from Kenya but grew up in Plano, Texas. During her time at BU, she has volunteered with the Petey Greene Program, tutoring students and supporting staff at a local juvenile center. Additionally, as a mentor with Strong Women Strong Girls, she works to promote confidence through guidance and female empowerment. In her free time, Venessa enjoys going to concerts, trying new foods, and watching new Netflix documentaries. After graduation, she plans to follow her passion for social justice by pursuing a career in public policy analysis.
