College of Arts & Sciences Student Government

 

Mission

The mission of the Boston University College of Arts & Sciences Student Government is to advocate for and represent the interests of the CAS student body. We seek to foster relationships within the CAS and BU communities by connecting students to resources in order to improve the quality of student life. We also provide discretionary funding to student organizations affiliated with CAS.

Committees

CAS Student Government consists of four committees:

  • Advocacy (VP: Samantha Seto, sseto@bu.edu): communicating and advocating for the addition of programs, resources, and other initiative goals with CAS and BU administration on behalf of the CAS student body.
  • Student Affairs (VP: Temilade Olateru-Olagbegi, temilade@bu.edu): working to utilize all CAS Student Government resources to provide social, academic, and professional programming that is open to all CAS undergraduates
  • Community Affairs – (VP: Helen Lallos-Harrell, hlal935@bu.edu): working and promoting the messages and missions of other CAS-affiliated clubs through the cultivation of collaborative programming
  • Internal Affairs – (VP: Giana Freund, gfreund@bu.edu): overseeing all communications and advertising campaigns for CAS Student Government and, shall also work to promote the advertising campaigns of other CAS-affiliated clubs.
