Coming out of the past:
What can historical queer literature teach us about gender + sexuality today?
Join Associate Director for the CAS Writing Center and Senior Lecturer Heather Barrett (she/her) for a discussion of how 19th century American literary texts created space for the exploration of queerness, and how these early representations can open up new possibilities for understanding queer identities and experiences today. Food will be served.
