Latinx Heritage Month
September
The CAS Diversity and Inclusion Office in partnership with Alianza Latina, the Puerto Rican Student Association, Sabor Latino, and the Graduate School of Arts & Sciences will be hosting a Latinx Heritage Month celebration to provide space for the BU Latinx community to gather and connect. There will be snacks, music, games, face painting, a performance from Sabor Latino, and a raffle for BU merch and 2 free tickets to Fuego!

LGBTQ+ History Month

The CAS Diversity and Inclusion Office in partnership with the LGBTQIA+ Student Resource Center, oSTEM, Q, and the Graduate School of Arts & Sciences will be hosting an LGBTQIA+ History Month Kickoff event to provide space for the BU trans and queer community to gather and connect. There will be snacks, music, games, and a raffle for a Nintendo Switch, waterproof speakers, a polaroid, and BU merch!

Condoms & Candy
October
Condoms & Candy is an annual celebration of sex positivity and wellbeing! In preparation of the Red Zone (over 50% of sexual assaults occur within the first 10 weeks of the Fall semester), CASDI is sharing Title IX and sexual wellness resources, SWAG, candy, and free safer sex supplies (internal and external condoms, dental dams, lube, etc.) in October.

Denim N Donuts

Denim N Donuts is an event for CAS community members to show support to those who have or are experiencing sexual misconduct. We invite all community members to write a message of support on a patch of denim, to honor those who have fought against sexual misconduct. Write on a patch and get a free donut!
