TO GENERATIONS OF STUDENTS IT’S KNOWN SIMPLY AS “THE CORE.” In May 2015, the CAS Core Curriculum, a two-year program with classes drawn from across the sciences and humanities, celebrated its 25th anniversary. The program is open to undergraduates from every major and brings them together in small interdisciplinary groups to “explore classic works of the humanities and social sciences and the critical discoveries of the natural sciences.”
More than 150 alums, friends, and faculty attended the event, which featured a film screening with faculty discussion panel and a gala reception at the Castle.
