We use a variety of measures to study child development, including parent questionnaires, computer games to assess children’s learning, EEG to assess brain activity patterns, cortisol levels to assess stress hormones, and observation of parent-child free play.

Want to volunteer? Research Assistants in the BEE Lab learn about developmental neuroscience techniques and behavioral research while working with young children and their parents. A friendly personality and prior experience with children are essential!
