CDS Generative AI Assistance Policy Media Coverage

Leaning on the expertise of faculty and the discipline's fundamental openness to embrace generative AI, in March 2023, Boston University’s Faculty of Computing & Data Sciences took the groundbreaking step to adopt a student-initiated policy called Generative AI Assistance (GAIA) Policy. This policy is one of the first higher education policies for the use of ChatGPT and other generative AI tools in the classroom.
