
Dan Yang
Assistant Director of Graduate Affairs
Dan joined the Faculty of Computing & Data Sciences in 2023 as the Assistant Director of Graduate Affairs. In this role, Dan serves as the primary point of contact for all matriculated master’s students in CDS, as well as master’s students in other disciplines or programs who seek advice about DS courses and programs. She oversees the recruitment and admission process for the Data Science master’s program, and the creation and implementation of diversity and inclusion programming in DS. She also serves as an academic advisor for DS students to help them navigate degree requirements and develop plans to realize their academic and career goals.
Before joining CDS, Dan served as the Admissions Specialist for the Online MBA program at Questrom School of Business at BU. She also worked as the Graduate Assistant for the Graduate Admissions office at Boston College Carroll School of Business. Dan holds a Master of Arts in International Higher Education from Boston College and a Bachelor of Arts from Merrimack College in Communication Studies and Women and Gender Studies.
