On Friday, May 27, 2022 CEID hosted Jean-Jacques Muyembe Tamfum MD, PhD, Director of the National Institute for Biomedical Research (INRB) and members of the INRB team for a panel discussion about Ebola Virus Disease and Monkeypox.

Panelists included:

  • Dr. Placide Mbala, Chief of the Pathogen Genomics Laboratory at INRB
  • Dr. Daniel Mukadi Director of the Rodolphe Mérieux Laboratory of Goma (DRC) & Provincial Director of the INRB
  • Dr. Hugo Kavungo serves as Deputy Director of the Rodolphe Mérieux Laboratory of Goma (DRC)
