Michael R. Ulrich is Assistant Professor of Health Law, Ethics, & Human Rights at Boston University’s School of Public Health and School of Law. His research and scholarship focus on the intersection of public health, constitutional law, bioethics, and social justice, with an emphasis on the role of law in the health outcomes of marginalized and underserved populations. His work analyzes the efficacy, constitutionality, and ethical implications of methods of disease control such as quarantine and vaccinations, while writing and presenting on various topics in clinical and research ethics. He previously served as a bioethicist in the Division of AIDS at the National Institutes of Health.
