As a hospital epidemiologist and practicing adult and pediatric infectious diseases clinician, Dr. Mehrotra’s clinical, operational and academic work is collaborative and cross sectoral. She focuses on the socioeconomic, ethical, and regulatory implications of infection prevention and control efforts as well antimicrobial stewardship efforts. She has published on regulatory policy issues relating to disinfection and sterilization, the relationship between infection prevention and environmental sustainability, as well as the role of supply chains in global health security.
