CELOP Welcomes Fall 2013 Students

CELOP welcomed hundreds of students from over 35 countries for the Fall 2013 Semester. A majority of the students checked-in over two days on September 18th and 19th. The check-in process started with the Admissions staff checking immigration information and making sure each students was registered for their preferred program. As students checked-in, they also met with CELOP faculty and advisors to get help and advice on their classes. However, it wasn’t all about class as CELOP’s Student Life Coordinator was there to tell students about exciting activities and tours around Boston and Boston University.

Many students also showed up for the Welcome Party on Friday, September 20th. There was food, music and even games. Students were given an “ice-breaker” game that encouraged them to introduce themselves and speak with someone they had not met yet. Prizes, including CELOP t-shirts, were given out to students that won the game.

CELOP welcomes all our new and continuing students and we hope you have a great fall semester!

    Hello,excuse me, I would like to know if the students of CELOP live on campus and if that is included in the price, also I would like to know if I have time to get in the CELOP program in Spring 2014.

    Dear Juan,

    Thank you for your comment. All CELOP students who choose to live on campus are guaranteed housing in the university dormitories. Housing fees are not included in the tuition price. For an estimate on housing prices, please check our Dates & Fees page and click on “Spring 2014 – Fees and Estimated Expenses”.
    We are currently accepting applications for the Spring 2014 Semester. Our spring semester starts on January 15, 2014, so you have time to apply. To apply, please visit our application page and submit an application.

    Thank you for question regarding the possibility of hosting international students. We would recommend that you contact some home stay organizations in the Boston area that specialize this type of housing.

    Thank you for your question!
    As of Feb. 27, 2014, we are accepting applications for our Summer and Fall 2014 Semesters.

    Our Summer 1 semester programs begin on May 21st. Our Summer 2 semester programs begin on July 2nd and July 16.
