Celia Llácer

Celia Llácer started studying Orchestral Conducting with maestro Borja and next year she will be studying Master’s conducting at the Zurich University of the Arts with Professor Johannes Schlaefli and Professor Christoph-Mathias Mueller. Throughout her career, she has received masterclasses from Emmanuel Villaume, Karel Mark Chichon, James Lowe and Professor Nicolas Pasquet.

With the start of the new season, Celia Llácer will be the assistant conductor of l’Orchestre Philarmonique Royal de Liège. She has been the Chief Conductor of the JOECOM Orchestra from 2019 until 2022. Additionaly, she has worked as assistant conductor of the Gran Canarian Philarmonic with maestro Karel Mark Chichon in 2022 and the Córdoba Youth Orchestra in 2019.

Celia Llácer participated in the last edition of The Linda and Mitch Hart Institute for Women Conductors with the Dallas Opera. In 2019 she won the First Prize and Special Mention in the IV “Maestro Galindo” Conducting Competition in Spain. She has debuted with various orchestras such as the Dallas Opera, Gran Canarian Philarmonic or the “JK Tyl Theatre Orchestra” in Czeck Republic. Very committed to contemporary music, she has collaborated in the premieres of works by numerous composers such as Dori Díaz-Jerez, Benjamin Rico and Jaime Casper.
