Gregory LaRosa

Gregory LaRosa serves as the Principal Timpanist of the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra and as a regular Guest Principal with London’s Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. Traveling the world as a soloist, chamber musician, orchestral performer, Gregory has performed in many of Europe’s most prominent music festivals. He is at home in a variety of musical genres, having performed alongside popular artists like Sarah McLachlan, Andrea Bocelli, and Darlene Love. As an in demand pedagogue, Gregory has been a guest artist at conservatories and universities, including New York University, California State University Long Beach, and West Chester University.

Gregory holds degrees from The Juilliard School and The Colburn School and is proudly a Scholar with the Union League of Philadelphia Legacy Foundation.
