Operations Manager, School of Visual Arts
Logen Zimmerman is Operations Manager at the Boston University School of Visual Arts. His academic background is in film studies, visual culture, and museology. He has written, through printed and online publications, about photographic history, collecting, and arts leadership. His own creative practice bridges the analogue and digital realms, and is further focused on etymology. Additionally, he is known as the (unofficial) historian of the School of Visual Arts, and has contributed to scholarship on former professors such as David Aronson, Philip Guston, and John Wilson. An enthusiast of the Washington Color School, each year he enjoys presenting the work of Gene Davis to the Color class.
