CFA Color Garden – Natural Plant Dye Workshop

BU College of Fine Arts School of Visual Arts presents a Natural Plant Dye Workshop, organized by the CFA Color Garden student team.

Learn about the Color Garden and the students' research followed by a fabric dyeing workshop using flowers from the Garden. There will be baked goods.

The CFA Color Garden is a student-led organization dedicated to creating a unique outdoor classroom space on Boston University's campus. The project aims to fulfill the need for more innovative and sustainable approaches to art-making through understanding dye production, while also promoting community engagement. This space has been designed in consideration of the interactions between Boston's local plant and animal life, by including pollinator, drought-tolerant, and native species.
