Advising at CFA

We’ve got your back! It’s important to meet with your academic advisor at least once a semester to check in on degree progress and course selections, plans after graduation, or just to catch up.

Please visit the University Academic Calendar for a complete list of important dates.

Undergraduate Advising

Students work closely with their academic advisors, faculty mentors, and CFA student services team, in order to fulfill degree requirements, explore opportunities, and make progress towards academic & professional goals. Graduate Advising

Faculty Advising • Graduate students are assigned a faculty advisor during their first year of study. Students must meet with their faculty advisors prior to registration. Incoming on-campus students should plan to meet their advisor by the end of May, prior to matriculation. Returning students will meet their advisor during the prior semester to obtain an Academic Advising Code. All students are encouraged throughout the year to seek advice and support of their advisor throughout their course of study.
