Add/Drop/Audit Form
Use this form to add or drop courses, audit a class, or change a class section. Class Schedules may be viewed on the MyBU Student Portal or at bu.edu/reg. The deadline to add classes for Fall 2024 is Monday, September 16th.
Non-Standard Courses: Please review course information and deadlines at bu.edu/reg.
Standard Courses: Most standard courses can only be added within the first two weeks of classes. Students should attempt to register for courses on the MyBU Student Portal before submitting an add form. Standard courses dropped during the first five weeks of class are not recorded as part of your permanent record, but after the fifth week of class drops will be recorded with a “W” grade and students are responsible for the cost of the course.
Students should refer to their school/college regarding signatures required for drops, and be mindful of all course components (lab, lecture, etc.) when considering dropping a course. Students can drop the majority of courses on their own on MyBU Student and should try this first before submitting a Drop form.

**Please note: if you have any holds on your account (ex. Immunization hold, compliance) we will not be able to process your form until the hold has been lifted. It is the student’s responsibility to identify and resolve any holds on their account.**
