Tong GAO

Tong GAO is a visiting student from Renmin University in China where she is a PhD candidate. Her primary research interest lies in the history of Christianity in modern China and the missionaries who came to China during this period. Currently, she is focusing on Gilbert Reid, a missionary from the American Presbyterian Church in the modern era, particularly his missionary thoughts.

As a visiting student, she is dedicated to collecting materials related to Gilbert Reid and exploring the relationship between his theology and missionary practice.
