What made you choose to attend the College of General Studies?
“Definitely the London program. I thought studying abroad as a freshman was a once in a lifetime opportunity. My classes in London were amazing and I had the opportunity to experience Europe. I went to an Ascot race and also visited Scotland for a weekend where I got to see Lake Loch Ness! In addition to the amazing experience I had in London, I liked the idea of having a gap semester.  Having that gap semester allowed me to pursue my interests before even starting at Boston University.”

What do you do when you’re not in the classroom?

“I danced with Boston Ballet when I was a little girl but had to give it up in high school when my schedule got too busy.  When I got to BU I actually had the chance to take Ballet classes again. It’s been fun to go back to my roots. I’m also a stylist for the on campus fashion magazine, Off the Cuff, which I enjoy. As a stylist, I pick out clothes and style the models based on certain themes. I’m very passionate about fashion and am glad I discovered that opportunity.”

What’s your favorite spot on campus?

“The BU docks on the Esplanade. I often jog around the Esplanade and can’t help but stop for a few minutes on the docks to admire the amazing views!”

Tell me something fun about yourself!

“I like to surf in the summer. I’m from Hingham Massachusetts, which is a very nautical town, so I took up surfing a few years ago. I’m not the best at it but it’s a lot of fun.”
