Marsh Chapel: A Space for Beauty, Tradition, and Celebration.

Every year, many of life’s major celebrations and transitions—including baptisms, graduations, weddings, and memorials—are marked inside the Chapel by students, staff, faculty, and alumni, as well as members of our broader community. Outside on Marsh Plaza, the chapel’s steps and central plaza regularly serve as a gathering place for the university with a continuing tradition of vigils, protests, and university resource fairs. We also find ourselves featured in many graduation photos each year as students participate in the university tradition of “Step on the Seal” right outside our front doors.
