Postdoc Dr. Neno Vuksanovic Receives NIH F32 Ruth L. Kirschstein Postdoctoral NRSA Fellowship

Congratulations to Dr. Neno Vuksanovic, a postdoctoral researcher in the Allen Lab, on being awarded an NIH F32 Ruth L. Kirschstein Postdoctoral NRSA Fellowship for his research proposal “Structural and Functional Characterization of Glycosyltransferases in the Campylobacter concisus N-linked Glycoconjugate Biosynthetic Pathway!”

The fellowship will fund Neno‘s work on identifying the substrate binding determinants of glycosyltransferases responsible for the biosynthesis of diverse glycans, which play a key role in bacterial-host interactions and the survival of the important human pathogen Campylobacter concisus.
