Teaching Philosophy
Dr. Shepherd seeks to guide students through the process of solving problems using a chemistry mindset, helping them to gain insight into the world around them instead of simply getting the “right answer”. He hopes that students come away from his classes with skills that they can apply to both future work in the natural sciences and in their everyday lives.
