Myra O’Neal

Infant Lead Teacher

Myra graduated from the University of Connecticut where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development and Family Studies, with a concentration in Early Childhood Development and Education. Myra has worked in a variety of settings with children ages birth-5, but found her niche with infants and toddlers.

Myra values the relationships she forms with others, especially with parents and young children. She knows that it is a privilege to earn and hold a child’s trust and seeks to guide and join children in their learning experiences; especially the messiest ones. In her experience, she has learned that working with children is not always easy, as they tend to challenge everything we think we know. Myra aims to bring her can-do attitude, sense of humor, and positive energy to the work environment. Children love to be silly, so why not be silly with them!

She is a Certified Postpartum Doula and provides highly individualized parent support, education, and collaboration with families.

Originally from the small beach town of East Hampton, New York, she is a natural beach lover. When not at work, Myra loves watching reality TV, and sports, especially college volleyball and basketball. She enjoys taking spin classes, devouring ice cream, and traveling internationally in search of the best beaches to lounge on.
