The Board on Science Education is searching for 4-5 experts to serve as members of the Standing Committee on Advancing Science Communication. Study staff specifically highlight the need for diverse nominees with expertise in health and/or science communication and related fields, such as political science, AI/social media, psychology, or sociology;  science communication practitioners (journalists, think tanks, federal agencies, and nonprofit research organizations); and related professions and disciplines (marketing, health communication/health promotion, risk communication, mass media communications; science education; research design and program evaluation; public policy).Please submit all nominations (for yourself and others) through the online nomination form by November 29, 2024.
