Biography:
Karin Brandt is the Founder and CEO of coUrbanize, a digital platform that lets people share feedback about real estate development projects in their community online, by text or voicemail.
An urban planner by trade, Karin started coUrbanize in 2013 to ultimately empower more people to shape the future of their neighborhoods. So far over 550 project teams have used coUrbanize to reach more community members, overcome NIMBYism, and build better projects.
Karin holds a master’s degree in city planning from MIT and began her career in urban development at the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy. A TechStars alum, she’s been featured in Fast Company, TechCrunch and Curbed, and was recognized in 2021 as one of Commercial Real Estate’s Fifty Under 40 and Boston Business Journal’s 40 under 40.
