Curriculum Vitae

Alexander Christensen is a first-year PhD candidate at Boston University. He graduated from Oxford University (MPhil, Greek and Latin Language and Literature), working first on lyric, then on historiography, from archaic Greece to the Renaissance. His dissertation looked at the Renaissance psalm paraphrase of George Buchanan, especially his use of classical metrical traditions. Before Oxford, Alexander received his BA in English Language, with minors in Latin and creative writing, from Brigham Young University in Utah.
