
Classical Studies PhD Student
Damon is a fifth-year graduate student in the department of Classical Studies at Boston University. He received his BA in political science from Middlebury College in 2014 and a Master of Arts in Liberal Arts from the St. John’s College Graduate Institute (Annapolis) in 2018. He is currently working on his prospectus on the influence of Homer on Xenophon’s political and philosophical thought. His interests include Greek and Roman philosophy and epic poetry, with focus on Plato, Xenophon, Apuleius, and the reception of Homer. He has taught classes at BU as the instructor of record for Latin 2, Latin 3, and CL101: World of Greece.
