Niamh is a first year PhD student. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Oregon, majoring in Comparative Literature and Classics. Her senior thesis was entitled “Unseen and Unsung Heroines: Emotional Labor in Ovid’s Heroides I and VII”. Her research interests include the feminine demonic and the Furies, Dido and Carthage, and gender and sexuality.
