COM grad arrested at Trump rally in Chicago

CBS News journalist Sopan Deb (COM'10) was detained Friday, March 11, while covering clashes between supporters and protesters supporters of Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump at a campaign event in Chicago.

According to CBS News, Deb was interviewing both supports and protesters inside the University of Illinois at Chicago Pavilion, where the event was set to take place. The rally was called off by the campaign before it began, citing security concerns.
