John Hall

John Hall teaches film and TV studies courses at Boston University’s College of Communication.

As a master lecturer in the film and TV department, he teaches classes on film and TV criticism and film studies. He also co-teaches the foundational COM course CO101, in which he covers the FTV unit. His film articles have appeared in publications such as The Boston Phoenix, The Improper Bostonian and Bright Lights.

For many years, Hall directed the COM Writing Center and was active in the regional and national writing center community. He co-authored several articles on collaboration and ESL tutoring in national writing center journals.
