About Karen Mascott

Karen Mascott is a Associate Professor of the Practice of Advertising. She comes to the College of Communication with over 15 years of marketing experience. Mascott was Vice President, Group Marketing Director at Digitas for most of her advertising career. There she led Procter and Gamble's digital marketing efforts for their Feminine Care brands. In this position, she was the global digital agency leader, implementing several integrated campaigns and site redesigns. She was also responsible for overseeing cross channel marketing programs for global brands such as General Motors, The Home Depot and AT&T. She has also led several consulting projects in corporate branding, demand generation and public relations. Prior to her marketing career, Mascott worked in politics for Senator Edward J. Markey of Massachusetts where she was campaign manager and communications policy analyst. Mascott has an MBA from Boston College and a BA from Syracuse University.
