Larry Weinberg

Lawrence I. Weinberg, Esq. has performed legal and business affairs services for a variety of entertainment companies, law firms and independent motion pictures, documentaries, television and web-based programs for over twenty years. He is also an educator and currently the Senior Advisor and Lead Lecturer of Film and Television Programs and Media Ventures for Boston University’s Los Angeles Study Abroad Program.

Weinberg interned and practiced law for several years with the Screen Actors Guild and the highly respected law firms of Lavely & Singer and Allen, Matkins, Leck, Gamble & Mallory, in Los Angeles. His work at the William Morris Agency focused on independent film financing and international co-productions. More recently, Weinberg helped develop, finance and start several entertainment-related companies for which he provided business, legal, finance and production services, including LA-based Storyopolis and E3 Entertainment and NY-based Sandbox TV. While with Storyopolis, Weinberg specialized in family entertainment and intellectual property branding. While with E3 Entertainment, he provided a full-service business and legal affairs practice specializing in entertainment finance, film, television, documentary and new-media business and legal affairs, international co-productions, business development, and traditional producer-artist representation. At Sandbox TV, a web-based video-on-demand delivery platform specializing in branded video channels with a social networking application, Weinberg managed all entertainment and media related legal affairs.

Currently, Weinberg has his own law practice with partner Robert Fyvolent, and represents a variety of entertainment clients including corporate entities, distributors, producers, artists and individual motion picture, television and internet based productions. The firm’s clients are multi-faceted and include international production, financing and distribution companies, film and media funds, and writers, directors, actors and producers. Weinberg oversees all aspects of his client’s legal affairs.
