About Sonia Chung

Sonia Chung is an adjunct professor teaching interactive and digital marketing. She has over 20+ years digital experience across client, agency, technology and startup companies. While her roots are in database marketing, analytics and insights, she has had hands on experience across AdTech and MarTech driving all areas of digital marketing. She has worked at Digitas, Google, YouTube, Gilt.com, and Verily (Google’s healthcare division). She managed teams at large agencies and technology organizations. She also built capabilities and teams at small startups.

Currently, she is at Salesforce where she creates consumer experience and digital transformation strategies for retail and consumer goods companies such as: P&G, Kimberly Clark, L’Oreal, Colgate Palmolive, PepsiCo and CVS. She is passionate about the digital ecosystem given its dynamic ever changing technologies, consumer behaviors, and data sources.

Her areas of specialization include:  analytics, consumer experience, digital strategy, customer relationship management, paid media, email marketing and direct to consumer.
