About Sonia Chung

Sonia Chung is an adjunct professor teaching interactive and digital marketing. She has over 20+ years digital experience across client, agency, technology and startup companies. While her roots are in database marketing, analytics and insights, she has had hands on experience across AdTech and MarTech driving all areas of digital marketing. She has worked at Digitas, Google, YouTube, Gilt.com, Salesforce and Verily (Google’s healthcare division). She managed teams at large agencies and technology organizations. She also built capabilities and teams at small startups.

She has worked with top clients in both the retail and CPG space include brands such as P&G, Kimberly Clark, L’Oreal, Colgate Palmolive, PepsiCo and CVS. She is passionate about the digital ecosystem given its dynamic ever changing technologies, consumer behaviors, and data sources.

She is currently the VP of Digital Marketing at Delaware North a hospitality company with properties including TD Garden, Kennedy Space Center and lodging/retail at many iconic national parks such as Yosemite, Yellowstone, Niagara Falls, and Grand Canyon. In this role, Sonia is leading the development of digital marketing strategies, plans and campaigns to drive our business objectives, utilizing the latest digital technologies and platforms.

Her areas of specialization include: analytics, consumer experience, digital strategy, customer relationship management, paid media, email marketing and direct to consumer.
