Eric E. Schmidt, executive chair of Google, delivered the University’s 139th Commencement address. The Honorable Sandra L. Lynch, chief judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, gave the Baccalaureate address. Leila Belmahi (CAS ’12) was the Student Speaker.
Also receiving honorary degrees were: Norman R. Augustine, retired chairman and CEO of Lockheed Martin; Thomas G. Kelley, retired Massachusetts Secretary of Veterans’ Services; and Leonard S. Nimoy, acclaimed actor, director, and author.
