LGBTQIA+ Higher Ed Professionals Reading Group

Are you interested in joining the LGBTQIA+ higher education profession?

Numerous LGBTQIA+ BU colleagues have expressed interest in moving into LGBTQIA+ higher education professional roles (e.g., working at a collegiate LGBTQIA+ Center, LGBTQIA+ student affairs roles, DEI roles with an LGBTQIA+ focus, etc.). Join BU’s two LGBTQIA+ center directors, Debbie Bazarsky (she/they) and Katy Collins (they/them), for a monthly reading group to discuss the profession via various LGBTQIA+ and higher education journal articles.

If you are interested, please email bazarsky@bu.edu and katycoll@bu.edu by Wednesday, July 10 with the goal of meeting for the first time on Wednesday, July 24 from 12-1:30 pm.

Lunch will be provided, and we will set a monthly schedule that works for all at this meeting.
