Research

The Laboratory of Computational Immunology is dedicated to the development and application of mathematical models, statistical methods, and software for research in the biology of immune systems and host defense. Researchers in the LCI bring expertise from a variety of scientific disciplines to bear on research projects in vaccine design, HIV biomedicine, evolutionary and comparative immunology, immune genomics and informatics, and other topics. LCI is also involved in training, education, and outreach; its faculty members teach relevant graduate classes at Boston University, and regularly host summer schools, symposia and workshops.
