David Malkin (CAS ’22) is studying history with a minor in philosophy. In his first year at BU, he was an NCAA Division I diver. He has been an editorial staff member of The Journal during each of his years on campus. Thus far, he has lived all over Boston, including Allston, Mission Hill, and Somerville; he is now a Resident Assistant in upper campus. His honors thesis research concerns the decline and fall of American retail developments.

Outside of the classroom, he is interested in ideas in literature and greatly in love with the Core community. He speaks Russian and plays the violin.
