Lily is an Irish poet and playwright. After experimentation in various new literary forms throughout the 1880s, she came to focus on theater and by the early 1890s had become one of the most popular playwrights in London. Recent unsigned reports in the less reputable organs of opinion have insinuated that Lily is concealing her true identity, that of being a small dog of unknown mixed heritage (purportedly a cross of Maltese Terrier with either Japanese Spaniel or Shih Tzu). These unverified and frankly vicious rumors are almost certainly a product of professional jealousy and other untoward motives, and not to be taken seriously. She lives in Fitchburg with Zachary and Jenna Bos.
