Matthew Cascio is a PhD candidate in the BU Department of English, his studies being focused on the literature of the Medieval and Early Modern periods. He is particularly interested in issues of embodiment, and the ways in which the thinking of these periods has influenced theories concerning race, feminism, queerness, media, and more. He previously taught Introduction to College Composition at the University of Maryland, College Park for two years.
He is a Fall 2020 Writing Fellow with the Core Curriculum.
