100 Bay State Road – Construction Activity for the period August 25 – September 8
For August 25 through September 8 you may expect:
We expect installation of green roof to be done on Tuesday at which point both the crane and fence will be removed. Bay State Road should be open and unobstructed from Tuesday onward.
The Kenmore Parking Lot has been completed and only finishing touches to the landscaping will be done next week. The staffs of the Educational Resource and Career Development Center, CAS Academic and Pre-Professional Advising have completed their move in and are now busy preparing for the upcoming semester. Dining Services has begun serving our student populations that have arrived early such as our Resident Assistants and First-Year Student Outreach Program participants. The CAS Writing Program faculty will complete their move in next week.
Completion of the myriad of punch list items is ongoing but will become less and less in the public view over the next two weeks. We expect Wednesday to be the first big day of move in but the majority of students will be move in next Saturday. The building is officially open and fully operational.
