For 7/9/16 – 7/15/16:
Deliveries
- Subcontractors will receive deliveries all week from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both Beacon Street and Bay State Road.
Onsite Construction
Saturday 07/09/16
- Demolition throughout building – Interior
- Load out of dumpsters on the Beacon Street side of the building – Dumpster will be swapped throughout the day.
- Activities will require trucks and equipment in the point park area – Access from Bay State Road will be required for dumpsters and equipment.
- Site work and foundation demolition activities in the Annex alley – Saw-cutting and chipping out concrete and loading into dump trucks for removal.
- Wood loading dock construction around the base of the man and material hoist on the exterior on the Beacon Street side of the building
Man and Material Hoist Construction
- Concrete masonry unit (CMU) block infills around gates on all floors
- Constructing wood loading dock around perimeter of hoist base
Demolition Abatement
- Load out at Beacon Street – Load out demolition debris from 1st floor to dumpster. Dumpster will be swapped throughout the day.
- Continue with load out down chute – Interior
- Demolition and load out of basement
- Abatement on floors 5, 6, and 7 – Interior
- Demolition after abatement at buffer zone, floors 3 and 4
- Demolition of floors 8 and 9
- Continue with demolition of existing freight elevator and floors 4 and 5 – Interior
Masonry Restoration (Exterior)
- Continue with masonry demo on the Bay State Road side of the building.
- Continue installation of CMU at 9th floor along Bay State Road.
- Start masonry facade demo on the Beacon Street side of building at 9th floor.
- Start masonry demo on swing above Annex.
Roof (Exterior)
- Begin layout and installation of CMU at parapet on the Bay State Road side of the building.
Alley Between Annex and Myles at Bay State Road
- Backfill alley after concrete pour.
Site work excavation for ramp and utilities in the alley - Steel delivery and installation at transformer pad area in alley
