Joan & Edgar Booth Theatre and College of Fine Arts Production Center – Construction Activity – December 15, 2017 through December 25, 2017
For December 15, 2017 through December 25, 2017:
- Permitted by the Town of Brookline, and in accordance with the approved Construction Management Plan, authorized work hours are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekdays and Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday work schedules must be requested and approved by the Town.
- Brookline Police details will continue to be posted at the construction site entrance gate at Dummer Street, to ensure public safety. The safety of our community is our highest priority, so we ask that you please pay close attention to posted signs, police, and safety personnel.
- Install the concrete island for the parking gate on Dummer Street
- Complete paving at the north plaza
- Pavement saw cutting at the north plaza
- Finish concrete etch at the north and east exterior plazas
- Finish metal panel installation in the lobby gallery and lobby monumental stairs
- Install lighting and sound infrastructure to support the black box theatre
Key Construction Activities
- Complete landscaping
- Install sidewalk along Commonwealth Avenue
- Install line striping in parking garage on level B1
- Punch list coordination
- Furniture delivery
