BU Children’s Center – Construction Update – 5/17/19

During the week of May 20th

Layout and demolition of plumbing trenches in basement will begin.

Wall demolition at three car garage will begin.

Construction in progress from sewer line to one garage from Lenox Street.

Exterior lead abatement will continue using 60’ boom lift.

Underpinning will continue.

During the Week of May 27th

Basement slab trenching demolition is continued.

Single car garage demolition continued.

Underpinning will continue this week.

Construction will cut and cap water and provide new water service to main building.

Interior lead abatement will start this week.

Exterior lead abatement to continue.

Window sash and hardware removal to begin this week contingent on release by BU.

Lead abatement at windows will begin in conjunction.

Temp window protection after sash removal to begin and follow.
