Geothermal Well Drilling Initiative – Construction Update – 5/17/19
During the week of May 20th
Park Test Well #3
- The subcontractor will be remobilizing the drilling rig to clear an obstruction in the bore hole using drill rods and water.
- After the obstruction is cleared, a testing agency will be on site to measure verticality of the TW#3 by lowering instrumentation on a cable into the bore hole.
- Towards the end of the week, the drilling contractor will be installing the geothermal piping. This involves connecting and lowering 20’ sections of piping into the bore hole.
Alley
- No work is scheduled for the alley way.
