During the weekend of August 1st
Excavation for the podium foundations
The site will be open for construction activities on Saturday; crews will continue installation of the H-Piles for the crane pad.
Installation of the inclinometers will continue. The inclinometer is used to monitor the movement of the support of excavation sheets as excavation continues.
During the week of August 3rd
Installation of the H-Piles for the crane pad will continue using the hydraulic hammer to drive the piles the remaining ten feet into bedrock.
Excavation for the building foundations will continue. This activity will continue in the “podium” portion of the building, closest to Sargent College.
Installation of cross bracing for the support of excavation system will be installed as excavation continues.
Installation of the inclinometers will continue.
As activity in and around the site begins to increase, please be aware of all directional signage, as pedestrian travel paths may be altered.
