Placement of 1,500 cubic yards of concrete for the podium slab

During the weekend of October 3rd

  • On Saturday, crews will be on-site to continue with excavation in the tower portion of the building, along with the installation of bracing for the support of the excavation system.

During the week of October 5th

  • Excavation in the tower portion of the building continues. This operation is roughly 25 feet down from the previous parking lot grade and is continuing down another 14 feet to the next level of bracing for the Support of Excavation (SOE) system.
  • Installation of the 3rd level of SOE bracing will begin once the soil has been removed down to the proper elevation.
  • Following the placement of the podium mat slab that occurred last week, crews will begin placing formwork and rebar for the podium’s foundation walls.
  • Please be aware of all directional signage, as pedestrian travel paths may be altered.
