During the weekend of November 21st
Rebar and formwork continue at the ground floor slab in the podium
In preparation for significant foundation concrete placement, scheduled for 12/5/20, the contractor is required to adjust normal operations. There are several notable changes that will occur on the site over the next two weeks.
Beginning at 6 am on Saturday and Sunday, deliveries of reinforcing materials will arrive on the site. Crews will continue the installation of reinforcing materials for the mat slab in the tower portion of the building, on the west side of the site.
During the week of November 23rd
Installation of approximately 800 tons of reinforcing bar has begun for the tower slab
Deliveries of materials, starting at 6 am, will continue into the week, working extended days Monday – Friday.
In the podium, located at the east end of the site, the installation of reinforcing materials and formwork for the ground floor slab will be completed early in the week in advance of the concrete placement for the slab that will occur mid-week.
The installation of reinforcing materials for the tower’s mat slab will continue throughout the week as the project prepares for the slab’s concrete placement in early December.
Backfilling against the podium foundation walls will begin.
The site will be closed Thursday, November 26th in observance of Thanksgiving, and will reopen on Friday, November 27th.
